QUICKSLEEPER 5 is the 5th and latest generation [20+ years of clinical experience] of osteocentral anesthesia delivery system from Dental Hi Tec, France. Osteocentral anesthesia is also called intraosseous anesthesia. This technique has existed since 1906 and evolved in 1997, thanks to Dr. Alain VILLETTE and then perfected by Dr. Eric PASQUIER in 2007. The protocol is broken down into three stages. After prior anesthesia of the mucosa (periosteum), a perforation is carried out, at the septum level, towards the apices. The bone is not innervated, so the perforation is painless.

Once the needle is inserted 3/4 of its length, it is injected near the apices into the cancellous bone which is richly irrigated with blood. Up to 1 cartridge can be injected with concentrated vasoconstrictors without risk of ischemia/necrosis. The anesthesia is immediate (near the apex), without failure (in the center of the bone box, near the apices).

The product diffuses inside the bone, anesthetizing up to 8 teeth depending on the volume injected. The benefits of osteocentral anesthesia :
Deep and painless anesthesia
Immediate effect
No unnecessary soft tissue numbness
Control of the required amount of anesthetic injected
Up to 6 teeth anesthetized with a single injection
Work on several quadrants in the same session
Optimizes the organization of long appointments and the practice.
