The Qur’an Predicted Today’s World — And It’s Terrifyingly Accurate
Fourteen hundred years ago, in the middle of a desert, a book was revealed to a man who could neither read nor write. That book spoke about wars that had not yet happened, empires that had not yet risen, corruption that would spread across the land, moral confusion, the collapse of family, the competition in tall buildings, widespread deception, and a time when truth would feel rare.
That book is the Qur’an.
Today, we are witnessing global instability, economic inequality, moral upheaval, media manipulation, and spiritual emptiness at a scale humanity has never seen before. But none of this surprises the Qur’an. In Surah Ar-Rum, Surah Al-Baqarah, Surah Al-Kahf, Surah At-Tawbah, Surah Al-Imran, Surah Al-Anbiya, Surah Al-Hujurat, Surah Ar-Ra’d, Surah Al-Qasas, Surah Al-Hadid, Surah Al-Asr and many others, Allah described patterns that are unfolding right now before our eyes.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also described, in authentic narrations recorded in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, signs of the last era: widespread immorality, competition in tall buildings, years of deception, killing without reason, time feeling compressed, truth ignored, and falsehood amplified.
This video explores:
The prophecy of the Romans in Surah Ar-Rum
The concept of fasad (corruption) spreading across the land
The characteristics of hypocrisy in Surah At-Tawbah
The test of suffering in Surah Al-Baqarah
The warning of replacement in Surah Muhammad
The divine law of change in Surah Ar-Ra’d
The prohibition of riba (interest) and global finance
The breakdown of family and the loss of mawaddah and rahmah
The rise of deception in the information age
The signs of the last days described in authentic hadith
The responsibility of the Ummah in Surah Al-Anfal
The formula for salvation in Surah Al-Asr
This is not fear-mongering. It is a call to reflection.
The Qur’an is not predicting the future anymore. It is describing the present.
The question is not whether the Qur’an is relevant.
The question is: Are we paying attention?
