A demonstration of a circa 1926 Mikiphone portable phonograph, part of the phonograph collection at the Stanford Archive of Recorded Sound (http://library.stanford.edu/ars). Built in St. Croix, Switzerland, around 100,000 of these phonographs were produced between 1924-1927.
