EV39 has recently returned to service and is now handed over to Donnybrook, most likely to replace EV97, which that is off at the moment as of it getting a new engine fitted in. EV39 was originally introduced to Harristown in 2007, as apart of the batch EV37 - 50 and before they were all moved to Summerhill to help out with their route 123. Sometime in 2017 or 2018 EV’s 37 - 39 transfered to Clontarf to replace with the withdrawal of AV’s 284, 285 and 286. When 2021 or 2022 rolled around EV’s 37 - 39 were withdrawn and sent to storage, so then later on in the years those EV’s 37 and 38 were brought back to service in Clontarf a while ago and while EV39 now resides at Donnybrook.
