The U.S.-China relationship is in the news and at the center of foreign policy discussions across the United States. To help Americans understand this dynamic relationship and to answer their questions on the issues, the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations presents the fifth annual CHINA Town Hall, National Reflections, Local Connections, featuring a live webcast with former National Security Advisor and noted commentator Dr. Zbigniew Brzezinski, which was broadcast to audiences at 50 venues nationwide on November 16, 2011. Dr. Brzezinski's remarks are followed by answers to questions from audience members from around the country. The program is moderated by Stephen Orlins, president of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations.

Dr. Zbigniew Brzezinski is counselor and trustee of the Center for Strategic & International Studies in Washington, D.C. He was national security advisor to President Carter from 1977 to 1981 and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1981 "for his role in the normalization of U.S.-Chinese relations and for his contributions to the human rights and national security policies of the United States." Dr. Brzezinski is an author, frequent public speaker, commentator on major domestic and foreign TV programs, and contributor to domestic and foreign newspapers and journals.
