“A Fool or a Clown?” serves as the character theme of Tohru Adachi, the infamous detective from Persona 4, in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.


Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, developed by Arc System Works and published by Atlus, is a 2D fighting game released in 2013 for arcades and consoles, serving as a sequel to Persona 4 Arena. The game expands on the stories of Persona 3 and Persona 4, bringing their casts together in a crossover narrative filled with mystery and combat. The soundtrack, composed by Atsushi Kitajoh, Shoji Meguro, and Tosuke Kase, combines rock, electronic, and jazz elements to heighten the emotional and thematic intensity of each character’s battles.


This cover was made using the soundfont of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones on the Game Boy Advance. I used AnvilStudio and FEBuilder to create this arrangement. The track is fully usable in potential ROM hacks.


The P4AU Magatsu Izanagi sprite used in the thumbnail was ripped by Skyla Doragono on The Spriters Rescource.
