Easy to keep clean
For years, I had a toothbrush holder that accumulated crud in the bottom and was hard to clean out. I looked all over, unsuccessfully, for an open toothbrush holder that could sit on my counter, before I finally found this. It's perfect. I've been using it for many months now, and it's holding up perfectly; I wipe it off now and then, and it stays clean and looks like new. I like the bronze color, too. If you actually wanted to use it for four toothbrushes, it might be a bit cramped, but I usually have 1-2 in mine and that's fine.
