Biu Jee Applications Part 1

At last, a video you've guys have been asking about for a long time.

Biu Jee is Wing Chun's enigmatic third and final empty hand form. It's enveloped in a great amount of confusion. Some say it "shouldn't go out the door" - as in, it shouldn't be taught to any but the most special students. Others consider it a form so advanced as to contain deadly techniques. Another interpretation is that Biu Jee is actually as deadly as a bowl of noodles. Yes. Seriously. They say it's merely a form that contains corrections for common mistakes and weaknesses inherent within the system.

Well, we believe that Biu Jee is "advanced" in that it's built upon the first two forms (Siu Lim Tao & Chum Kiu). Is it deadly? Yes, of course. Does it contain corrections and escapes to problems and challenges? Yes, of course. But it's not only those things. It's not "advanced" in that it means the previous forms are grade school stuff. No. It's advanced in its implications and logical application theory. It both builds upon and expands the combat ideas of the other forms. It both assumes the scientific structure of SLT & CK and keeps us from being slaves to that structure.

In all, we hope that this series will truly open your eyes to how amazing a system Wing Chun truly is and how it isn't merely a martial art for our modern era, but for any and every era.
