This is our entry for the KCE Duet Battle, please enjoy !

It took us about thirty minutes to make a choice upon the requested theme of this round. We do recognise that this song choice might have been an obvious one, according to the poem excerpt, but we felt that it matched thoroughly our vision of it. This poem could have been directly written by the main character of the song. It could have been their last poem, just before they realise that the person they chased after for so long has died, 15 years prior to their desperate attempt to reach them. They are now wavering, startled by the fatal conclusion.

"Is this writing mine?", they wonder what it is that had driven them to such a persistent mean, seeking some recognition from their crush; if it is really their own handwriting.

"Whose name is this?", they seem to have lost their mind; they cannot acknowledge the fact that they managed to forget their lover's demise.

"Did I underline what I was to miss?", were they actually too overwhelmed by the truth that they did not pay attention to it? Did they evade reality for delusions in spite of their ineluctable downfall?

We provided English subtitles in the video, as we thought it would efficiently convey our point of view, and our selection process. We did our best to make this song our own, and to make it differ from possible similar entries, in the mixing, but also in the vocals.
