Over 90 MLAs who supported Ashok Gehlot resigned their offices, throwing the Congress government in Rajasthan into uncertainty over the prospect of naming Sachin Pilot as the state's next chief minister. After a lengthy discussion at minister Shanti Dhariwal's residence in the evening, the Gehlot supporters left there and announced their resignation as MLAs. On Monday, the MLA had a meeting with AICC observers Ajay Maken and Mallikarjun Kharge. According to PS Kachariyvas, the Rajasthan Congress is prepared to confront the ED and CBI head-on and provide answers. He further claims that Congress members want to protect the government from the BJP.
