By now you already know that I'm a fan of water/ sweat resistant sunscreens, and i ONLY recommend wearing water/ sweat sunscreens outdoors, given this is an insanely hot country with large months being humid. Note these things for the next time you're outdoors and sweating with sunscreen:

🙌🏻Make sure you're only using water/ sweat resistant sunscreens when outdoors/ in direct heat/ humidity.

🙌🏻Water resistant doesnt mean waterproof and the FDA doesnt allow brands to add waterproof claims on their sunscreens.

👨‍⚕️Sunscreen on the face may not be sufficient for protecting the skin from harmful UV radiation after 4 hours outdoors. This efficacy can worsen after just a 1-2 hours of sweating.

🙌🏻Hence make sure you're wearing SPF 50 and higher. Reapplication is mandatory.

🫂You WILL sweat despite wearing sweat resistant sunscreens okay? Let’s acknowledge that first off.

🙌🏻 How can you figure this? Your face will break into many tiny droplets of water like my face in this reel. Transpiration is normal. Your face will still feel matte and silicony from the water resistant spf that you’re wearing. If it wasn’t water resistant, you’ll notice the milky texture of the product coming off.

💃What do i do for reapplication on a sweatt face outdoors?

💁🏻‍♀️I personally sweat a lot. So i always carry with me a handful of clean tissues and simply dab my face when it turns into niagara Falls.

🌸I make sure my hands are sanitised before i dab my face. Then i gently dab my face and use more tissues if one doesnt work

🌸I reapply the sunscreen again either with a stick or clean, sanitised hands.

This is the cheapest YET most effective way. Kid you not.
