The beat ’em up genre has not only had its revival, but might be experiencing another renaissance. With the return of some beloved names in the genre like Streets of Rage, Scott Pilgrim, and TMNT.

But no return has us more excited than the follow up sequel to one of our favourite games in the last few years - River City Girls 2.

In this review, we dive into the changes to the razor-sharp combat system, the snappy dialogue and, of course, the fantastic soundtrack by Megan McDuffee!
