Alder Wet Fly

Описание к видео Alder Wet Fly

In this video we tie the Alder Wet Fly, which is a winged wet fly in the traditional sense. A very simple 4 material pattern that is a great representation for caddis emergences. There are a couple of nifty little tricks in the video to help you while tying with the materials used.

Couple things to note, first the manner in which I tie in the hen feather used. Clearly depicts that you can tie these in opposite to what is clearly been taught for years. My thoughts are do with the feather what it gives you.

Secondly, managing the wings can be done in a variety of ways, play around with a few styles until you find what works best for you, just be sure to use the correct sections of the feathers.
