Strange day in Dry Gulch in this episode, as Gospel Bill finds himself fielding complaints from T.W. Tutwater (irritated after John Stevens wrote another bad check); Mrs. (who accused Elmer Barnes' new dog of eating her turkeys) and (whose horse had just been stolen) while having to resist the temptation to join in the complaining. Meanwhile, Nicodemus' Thanksgiving plans (a date with Miss Trudi Lou) get upended when Mr. Farnsworth has him install a new fence on the south pasture of the Flying Frog Ranch.
