For generations, our ancestors in Tamil Nadu have whispered secrets to the soil, planting ragi as a promise of resilience. This year, we finally honoured that legacy – breaking earth under the same skies they did. 🌱 Watch as we sow each seed, then witness time itself unfold: tender green shoots rising like hope, dancing monsoons nurturing them, and golden stalks bowing under the weight of harvest. And oh! That first taste of raw ragi milk from the youngest greens – creamy, earthy, a vintage flavour untouched by time.

Alas! Sun-drying the harvest tested our patience – until Amma smiled, "Wind is our ancient ally." Together, we tossed ragi into the breeze, letting it carry away husks like forgotten worries. ❤️ Then came the stone grinder’s thunder, turning grain into rust-red flour, just as Paati taught us. Of course! We transformed it: sweet koozh (malt) humming with jaggery’s warmth, and ragi mudde – soft, sticky pillows hugging Grandfather’s dry fish curry, spicy and fierce. Every bite? A hymn to survival. Every sip? A love letter to our roots.
