More behind the scenes movie magic of Mad Bomber Episode 2 Part 2. A peek into the dinosaur artform of miniature pyrotechnics as I do a scene where a Helicopter crashes into a windmill. In my attempt to be clever I made a nightmare of a simple scene. Powered HO/OO train, helicopter on fire, smoke effects from train and trying to get all this working at once became almost impossible.

My homage to all the good things about miniature film effects on a tiny budget. My childhood was a healthy diet of the TV series Thunderbirds, UFO and Space 1999. These TV programs had a huge influence on me which ended up becoming my official job in life. My special effects certification was cut out from the rear of a breakfast cereal carton, these days no one would bother cutting them out.

So many youtubers ask me about Mad Bomber 2 so maybe via the behind the scenes can let you see what might have been if the project was finished. This footage was shot back in 2008.

There is also my thoughts of Youtube today Vs the earlier years of YouTube. I do at times wonder why there is so much hate on this site. It never used to be like this.
