Archery is a sport of persistence, where every arrow is an opportunity to improve. The best arrow is always the next one!

To set yourself up for success, focus on developing a repeatable process that feels natural and consistent.

16 Steps to Build the Perfect Shot
✅Stay calm and relaxed—let go of tension.
✅Expect nothing but focus on your sequence.
✅Step up to the shooting line—feet shoulder-width apart and parallel to the ground.
✅Look at your target—visualize the shot.
✅Aim for the gold (even before raising your bow).
✅Adopt a rock-solid posture—chest out, and ensure your front hand (holding the bow) is steady.
✅String the arrow and connect your release aid
✅Breathe out as you raise your bow, aiming at the target.
✅Visualize the outcome—a perfect release.
✅Draw the bow and find your anchor.
✅Anchor at your cheekbone—this is your consistent point of reference.
✅Lightly touch your cheekbone to confirm the anchor.
✅Engage your back muscles—squeeze the shoulder blades together.
✅Focus on the gold.
✅Hold steady—breathe out and release.
✅Repeat this sequence every time to develop muscle memory.

✅Practice Tip: Stand in front of a mirror and go through steps 1-16 as if holding a bow. This visualization and repetition will help solidify your form and technique.
