This is the CHEAP alternative! It doesn't have all the features but it has that throwback aesthetic!

The Casio TRN-50 commemorates the 50th anniversary of their first CASIOTRON. They kept the look alive, added a HUGE amount of polish and refinement, then put cutting edge features under the hood. They really outdid themselves.

Yes, it looks really COOL. Unfortunately they're only making 4000 of these. So the limited run costs $500 retail. But I'm sure it will appreciate in value as a collector's item!

This got me wondering why they don't just make a watch like this as a regular run. What do you think?
