American Visionary Art Museum - Baltimore - Home of Folk Art & Outsider Art

Does a person have to be classical trained in painting and sculpture to be an artist? We believe all one needs is an imagination and a desire to create. Step right up as we land in Baltimore, Maryland to bring you along as we explore the American Visionary Art Museum. We were blown away by the size of this museum, it spans numerous buildings with multi levels; and also by the Flatulence Post in the basement by the bathrooms. Since we were in Baltimore we were happy to see art created in the city itself like screen painting. Walking through this museum was inspiring and we hope it helps to inspire you.
