THIS FLY CRUSHES TROUT!!! || The Purple Nurple || Fly Tying Tuesday's Ep. 21

It is hard to beat a good perdigon style fly when fishing for trout! I tie them up in all different sizes and color variations. The variations that stand out and catch the most fish get to stick around and are given a name. This fly has gone through 3 different variations before I finally settled on this recipe. The purple is proven to catch more fish, the orange hotspot gets the attention, and the resin perdigon body gets it into the strike zone fast. This may be the best perdigon style fly.
