"Luminescence" Ambient Jam | Vermona PerFourMer, Digitakt 2, Empress Reverb + Echosystem

My recent streak of ambient continues today with this, very simple but sweet piece. It started as a little loop I made for fun to play in the background of the house while we were getting ready yesterday, where I just hit play and walked away while it looped and looped. Honestly it's just such a nice sound I could let it play all day!

The Perfourmer MK2 is on poly mode, playing chords while the four voices are set to different octaves so that the melody extends longer than it really is due to the voices trading places. It is running through the echosystem on a basic but nice digital delay, into the reverb on a sparkle setting for some high and low octave shifting shimmer.

My favorite part is that I decided to record the whole chord progression into the Digitakt 2, and then using the Stretch machine make it 4 bars instead of 8, reverse, filter and some effects. I think when it comes in it sounds very nice!

Anyway, maybe the next jam will be some tech-death blastcore doom glitch.
