One of the best family time you can have is taking time off busy schedules from work and school to enjoy a few days together.

I consider myself extremely lucky. I have been travelling with my family since the tender age of one to as far as America. However, with the current virus pandemic, there is no way to travel abroad so the best thing is to find the perfect getaway within your home country. We decided to visit Langkawi Island and spend four days there at a lovely sea-fronting resort.
Langkawi is an archipelago made up of 99 islands on Malaysia’s west coast where you can enjoy mangrove tours and island hopping, amongst others. Surrounded by the turquoise sea, the interior of the main island is a mixture of picturesque paddy fields and jungle-clad hills, with many beautiful resorts and hotels. The island is recognised for its excellent diving and snorkeling opportunities, as well as deep-sea fishing. It is a good place to take home duty-free alcohol, cigarettes, and chocolates! You can get to Langkawi by air or by sea.
