Navigating Birmingham's Waterways: A unique and interesting Journey | Narrowboat PuraVida | Vlog 50

This week's Narrowboat Vlog takes us to the heart of Birmingham, the UK canal capital with over 100 miles of navigation spread over 13 different navigations!

Join us on Narrowboat PuraVida as we continue our journey along the Birmingham & Fazeley canal tackling the short Minworth flight of locks along the way. The Skipskip has a scary moment as she navigates into the top lock 😬 but all is well.

After a short cruise we find ourselves at the infamous Salford Canal Junction, a very busy junction located directly underneath the M6. Some people call this the spaghetti junction of the canal world!

As we continue our adventure towards the heart of Birmingham we tackle another fight of locks, this time it's the Aston flight, before reaching Aston canal junction.

With the city really building up around us, it's the final stretch with only 1 mile left, but the most challenging mile. Huge skyrise buildings dominate the horizon and we take on Farmers flight of locks which takes us through tunnels and under buildings! 😨
