I didn't say in the video, but if you like the sound of The Dark is Rising, you can absolutely start with the book with that title. It's the dark fantasy, whereas Over Sea, Under Stone is more of a mystery. The two books are not connected at all and The Dark is Rising works well as a standalone. I guess I'll cover all that when I review the full series.
