📢 Federal Board Latest Update 2026!
The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) and IBCC have announced a new grading system for 9th and 11th classes (SSC-I & HSSC-I) starting from First Annual Exams 2026.

Under this new system:

✅ Passing marks have been increased from 33% to 40%

✅ A 10-tier grading scale (A++ to D) has been introduced

✅ The change will apply to 9th & 11th in 2026 and to 10th & 12th in 2027

✅ The goal: fairer evaluation & alignment with international standards


📊 New FBISE Grading Scale 2026:

Grade Percentage Remarks

A++ 96–100% Extraordinary
A+ 91–95% Exceptional
A 86–90% Outstanding
B++ 81–85% Excellent
B+ 76–80% Very Good
B 71–75% Good
C+ 61–70% Fairly Good
C 51–60% Adequate
D 40–50% Marginal Pass
U Below 40% Fail / Ungraded
