UK DF65 Dragonforce National Championship 2023 - Day 1

A report from the first day of the DF65 DragonForce 2023 UK National Championships held by Keighley & District MES at Weecher Resrvoir in July of 2023.

The DF65 or "DragonForce" model yacht is the a popular one design model racing yacht with an active racing circuit in the UK. Popular in local clubs, this boat provides an ideal introduction to Model Yacht Racing and can be raced all the way up to international Level

More details of the DF65 or DragonForce can be found by checking out some of our other videos which go into some detail but basically the boat is a mass produced, off the shelf model yacht that is raced as a one design class, all boats are technically the same and available at low cost, which provides close and competitive racing.

Radio Sailing (Model yacht racing) is a competitive form of yacht racing run along similar lines to dinghy racing and keelboat racing.
