This is a tank of World War I, it is the second tank, after the Scneider CA-1, to be built by the French. It was very limited in Trench warfare though, being too slow on rough terrain and got easliy stuck in trenchs due to the long nose, but did find success as a mobile assault gun as was used to fight the German field guns. By 1918 it was largely obsolete and its role began being taken over by the Ranault FT.

I think this model kit looks good but after reading more about it, I not sure its completly correct as a late version, the late version had some improvements like the barrel rollers to help it cross trenches, and I dont think I saw that there in the kit, even though the top looks right and not sure if it has the more advanced 75mm gun they put in later models.
