I will teach you how to setup your Yaesu Digital Repeater to work with your Wires-X unit on a Windows Tablet or Computer. This is a full setup guide.

Quick Start Guide for your ZUMspot RPi Kit
A. Connect ZUMspot Kit to Micro USB cable and connect the other end of the cable to a 5v power USB AC adapter or your PC.
B. Wait 3 to 5 minutes for the ZUMspot to become active for the next step
C. Open WiFi on your PC or cell phone and look for and connect to
“Pi-Star-Setup”, connect using the password: raspberry.
D. Once connected, open up either Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge, and type in the browser “http://pi-star/” hit enter. For MAC users, open Safari and type in “http://pi-star.local/” hit enter.
E. A red and white configuration page will open. Just wait a minute or two for a login box to popup.
F. Enter credentials Username: pi-star and Password: raspberry then hit enter.
G. Once logged in, scroll to the bottom of the page and configure the wifi settings to allow connection to your home or business wifi.
H. Click on “Configure Wifi” then choose “Scan for Wifi”, let it scan for a minute, then choose your SSID, example: YourWiFi, then click on the SSID and type in the password, for example: YourPassword, then click on save.
I. Wait about 2 minutes, then unplug your ZUMspot from the micro USB cable and wait 30 seconds then plug it back in.
J. Connect your PC or cell phone back to your home or business wifi, then go to your browser and type in “http://pi-star/” hit enter. (Now you can configure your DMR, D-Star and other settings, etc).
K. Go to hamradio.com and look for the ZUMspot, click on it for more information.
