BJP to Contest 60-70 Seats in J&K, No Alliance, Assembly Polls in October | India Today

the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will contest 60 to 70 out of 90 assembly seats in the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir elections. The BJP has decided not to form an alliance with any political party but will support strong independent candidates where it will not contest. The elections will be held in three phases, starting on 18 September, with the final phase on 1 October and counting on 4 October.
