A new plant-based menu option arrived at Frontera Cocina Disney Springs so this vegan and omni went to review and chose to do it on Cinco de Mayo because we're always in the mood to celebrate. On the day Cinco de Mayo only Frontera Cocina had a live mariachi band playing around the restaurant. Frontera Cocina had margarita specials for Cinco de Mayo as well. Frontera Cocina at Disney Springs has been open since 2016 by Chicago based Chef Rick Bayless. This restaurant is part of the Palmas restaurant group, which also runs the restaurants inside the Mexico pavilion of EPCOT in addition to the third party restaurants inside Disney's Coronado resort. Frontera Cocina does accept Walt Disney World annual passholder discounts.
