Hattori HT-05 Dream Hunter 

Ichiro Hattori, ( 关住唯知朗 ) 71 years old craftsman, was involved with knife making at the age of 18 when he joined his father's knife company "Masahiro" in Seki. In 1971, he opened his own workshop and started producing high quality Hunting knives for a few select knife manufacturers in the US such as Kershaw, Browning, Beretta, Tekna etc.
The quality of craftsmanship and materials used in the production of Hattori knives is outstanding.
And true to the tradition of Japanese art these knives have a "zen" quality.
The lines, colors and design are aesthetically beautiful. If you see something you want make sure not to wait. It often takes 3-4 months to receive orders from Hattori as they are in high demand and they only produce a limited quantity of pieces. In the final finishing work, he gives his special care to check every detail, blade grinding and  polishing flows, warping, angles and handle shaping, fitting etc etc... Every knife that does not meet with his strict quality standard, is returned to be reworked from the beginning or thrown away. His "Never Compromise" attitude to seek the finest workmanship has made him called as 
"World's Best Knife Craftsman".  He was also honored to receive "Excellent Skilled Craftsman Award" from  Seki Knife Industrial Association and is known as the Stubborn Craftsman. 
When you hold his knife in hand and actually use it, you will know and admit that he really deserve it.

In 1993, he has entered into a domestic market with his own name and line, and instantly captured Japanese knife users as the finest Hunting knives ever offered in Japan.
