Scenic Highlights leading to the END of the ROAD, Kauai Hawaii

We cannot drive all the way around Kauai Island. That is made impossible with the imposing Kalalau mountains. (There is a hiking trail that can be traversed with some difficulty.) So why do many make the effort to go as far as they can? This video gives a sampling of the beauty on the North Shore. Sure, it's wetter on that side, making for greener areas and thin waterfalls dancing from the mountains. Take a little tour meandering through one lane bridges, mountain views and ocean views. Stop at some beauty spots, like the rugged dry cave, and assorted beaches. If possible, make reservations to visit Limahuli Gardens to imagine how early Hawaiians lived.

Please though, do your due diligence, check out the parking process that may still be in effect, when it comes to getting to the end of the road. That's the starting point for the Kalalau trail, which is very popular.
