The Prophet ﷺ said:

"Don't commit fraud against one another."

But what IS fraud in Islam?

Here's the textbook definition:

Fraud exists when you present a product as something OTHER than what it actually is.

Or when you create a scenario for selling a product that's FAKE.

Real-World Example: The Car Auction

You're at an auction. You spot the car you want. The bidding starts.

People are throwing out numbers. The price keeps climbing. You're competing to win.

But here's what you don't know:

Some of those "bidders" aren't there to buy the car.

They're planted in the crowd to DRIVE THE PRICE UP.

They're fake bidders. Creating artificial demand. Manipulating you into paying more.

That's fraud. And Islam forbids it.

The Prophet ﷺ said: "Don't do that to each other."

Why does this matter?

Because we're BELIEVERS. We believe in Allah and the Last Day.

So we don't:

❌ Deceive each other in business
❌ Manipulate prices artificially
❌ Create fake demand
❌ Present products dishonestly

We conduct business with HONESTY and INTEGRITY.

The Standard:

Your product is what you say it is. Your prices are real, not manipulated. Your business practices are transparent.
