Chapter 56: Surah Waqiah Full Tilawat By Sheikh Sudais

Surah al-Waqiah (سورة الواقعة) is the 56th Surah of Quran that located in the Juz 27. It has 96 verses and 3 rukus. Its Makki Surah present to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) 7 years before Migration. The other name of Surah Waqiah is “The Inevitable” or “The Event”. This Surah of Quran mostly highlights the events related to the Day of Judgment. It is one of the most recited Surah of the Holy Quran because Allah’s last Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) said “He who recites Surah Waqiah every night, poverty or need will never trouble him”

Surah Waqiah talks about the inevitable referring to resurrection and Qiyamah. It is undeniable. On this day humans will be placed in three different groups. The faithful are of two types: those who are the pioneers and the other the believers. The pioneers are a large number from the earlier communities. The believers are those who also have been faithful and benefits from their rewards. Last group is those who deniers and Allah will judge them accordingly.

Benefits of Surah Al-Waqiah
Surah Waqiah is famous for its benefits as saying by Holy Prophet Peace be Upon Him “Surah Waqiah is the Chapter of Wealth, so recite it and teach it to your children”.

Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) said that “whoever recites Surah al Waqiah at night would never encounter poverty’ (Ibn Sunni)”.
The above mentioned Hadith clarifies that when an individual who read this surah every night will never face poverty and state of destitution in their life.

Another Hadith which highlights the virtue of Surah Waqiah is in which Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) mentioned that “Whosoever read Surah Waqiah, and then he will be recorded as not belonging to the negligent.”
The importance of Surah Waqiah is that it reminds us of our death so we can improve our deed before death.

Another benefit of reciting this surah is, poor and unhappiness would fade away from the life who read it, and there would be plenty of food, guard, good chance and prosperity.

So it is clear that whenever an individual recites the Surah Waqiah on daily basis then he will be rewarded with lots of benefits. Every Muslim should make it a habit to read it on a daily basis because it is also a great blessing for all Muslims which offer a collection of worldly benefits.
