One. How to select all text in Word
1. Press Ctrl + H to open the "Find and Replace" window, select the "Find" tab, click "Special", select "Any Character", its indicator ^? is filled in the input box to the right of "Find what".
Note: Type ^? Okay; ^ means arbitrary, ? Represents a character.
2. Do not check any "Search Options", click "Find in", select "Main document", Word begins to find all the text, the document content is more, it takes a long time, therwise, it takes less time. Two. How to select all images in Word (How to select all shapes in Word)
(1) Method 1: Select them with "Select text with similar formatting"
1. Press Ctrl + F to open the "Navigator" panel on the left of the Word editing range, click the Down Arrow to the right of the Search icon, and then select "Graphics", or enter ^g (or copy and paste ^g).
Note: ^g means any graphics and images, ^ means arbitrary, g means graphics and images.
2. Display the search results, click "Select" in the upper right corner of the screen in the "Home" tab, and then select "Select Text With Similar Formatting", then the images and graphics with "similar format" in the document are selected, but the images and graphics with "unsimilar format" will not be selected.
(2) Method 2: Using Select Multiple Objects
A. Convert the document format to doc
1. If the extension of the document is docx, you need to convert it to doc first, otherwise the "Select Multiple Objects" window will be opened, and the objects will not be listed.
2. Press F12, open the "Save As" window, click the "Save as type" drop-down list, select "Word 97 - 2003 Document", press Enter or click "Save", if there are incompatible problems, a "Compatibility Checker" window will pop up and click "Continue", the document is saved as doc format, the original docx document is still there, so don't worry about destroying the original document.
3. After converting to doc format, the docx document is closed, and the doc document is currently open.
B. Add "Select Multiple Objects"
1. Right-click any blank space in the Ribbon, select "Customize the Ribbon", open the "Word Options" window, and automatically select "Customize Ribbon", click the "Choose Commands from" drop-down list, select "Commands Not in the Ribbon", drag the slider on the right until you find "Select Multiple Objects".
2. Click "Editing" under "Home" in the "Main Tabs" list, then click "New Group", click "Rename", open the "Rename" window, enter "Select Multiple Objects", click "OK", and the renaming is complete. Click Add, "Select Multiple Objects" is added into "Select Multiple Objects", "Click OK", and "Select Multiple Objects" is added to the top right corner of the screen in the "Home" tab.
C. Select all images and shapes
1. Click "Select Multiple Objects" to open the window, all non-embedded images and graphics in the document have been listed, check them to be selected. You can also click Select All to select them; After selecting them, clicking "OK", all checked images and shapes are selected.
