The ruddy kingfisher (Halcyon coromanda) is a medium-sized tree kingfisher widely distributed across East and Southeast Asia. It measures approximately 25-27 cm in length and is notable for its bright red bill and legs, along with rust-red to chestnut-colored plumage that deepens to purple on the tail. Distribution and Habitat:
