The world's largest single-day blood donation organization Akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad is conducting the Mega Blood Donation Drive “Raktdaan Amrit Mahotsav 2.0” across 400 cities and towns in the country and in over 75 countries worldwide this year on *17th
September 2025*. On this day over 7500 blood donation camps are being set up estimating the largest single day donation of over 3,00,000 units of blood worldwide. This event is being supported by Central Govt and all blood donations are being registered in *‘e-raktkosh’ portal*.

On this occasion MBDD Zonal Convenor Shri Sunil Dugar said, “Our NGO Akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad has initiated this drive since 2012 and so far earned several rewards and records including Guiness Book of World Records for highest single day blood collection under the aegis of our spiritual leader *H.H. Acharya Shri Mahashramanji*”

Shri Anant Bagrecha, MBDD National Media Coordinator said, “*MBDD Raktdaan Amrit Mahotsav 2.0* is supported nationally by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Railways, Youth Affairs, Education amongst all the State Govts in as much as camps are happening in every nook and corner of India and huge awareness is being created internationally in more than 75 countries.””

Speaking on this occasion, Shri Amitabh Dassani, West Bengal State Coach informed that, “This year more than 200+ blood donation camps are taking place in West Bengal with iconic camps at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Port, Coal India Headquarters, Kolkata and Bagdogra Airports, Metro Rail Bhawan to name a few. Support is also being extended by NDRF, RPF, BSF & various other organisations to make it a complete success.”

Chief Guest, Shri Arjun Chakraborty, prominent Tollywood actor addressed the occasion by saying, “ This is a huge step initiated for blood donation awareness in such a mega manner. While I fully support this noble cause, I request all fellow countrymen and citizens to come forward and donate blood to make our country blood sufficient”

Other prominent MBDD Convenors present were *Shri Rohit Dugar, Shri Rajiv Bothra, Shri Naveen Singhi, Shri Sandeep Daga, Shri Naman Jammar and Shri Sumit Chajjer*.
