In this dialogue, Joan as a local resident explains to Aqmal who plays the role of a tourist. In this conversation Aqmal, who was asking about the travel route, used transportation to go to Monas.

Aqmal: Hii, excuse me. Do you speak English?

Joan: Yes, I do

Aqmal: Introduction my name is Aqmal, I'm from Philippines, what's your name?

Joan: My name is Joan, Wow you are from abroad. Are you on holiday here?

Aqmal: Yes, I'm on holiday here.

Joan: Are you alone on holiday in Jakarta?

Aqmal: Yes, I'm alone on holiday in Jakarta. I am a solo traveler, I'm traveling around Southeast Asia and Jakarta is my last holiday destination before returning to the Philippines.

Joan: Wow.. how long have you been traveling around Southeast Asia?

Aqmal: I've spent 3 weeks traveling around Southeast Asia, starting from Brunei Darussalam, Kamboja, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Filipina, Singapura, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Joan: wow... your trip between countries was very tiring and memorable.

Aqmal: Thanks Joan. Btw, Permission to ask. which direction am I in?

Joan: Now you on Belawan Street, if I may know where are you going?

Aqmal: Oh, now on Belawan Street. I want to go to Monas using public transportation.

Joan: Oh, if you want to go to Monas, use public transportation. There are several public transportations that pass through Monas such as Jaklingko, Transjakarta, MRT, and train.

Aqmal: Wow... it turns out there is a lot of public transportation that passes through Monas. Is there public transportation closest to here?

Joan: The closest public transportation from here is the train station TanahAbang, it is only 10 minutes from here.

Aqmal: It turns out it's very close to the train station TanahAbang, only 10 minutes. Can you show me the route to the station?

Joan: Now you are on Street Belawan, Cideng, Gambir District. You are heading southeast, on the Belawan road towards the Berumun road. Then turn left on to Street Jatibaru Raya, then turn back on to Street K.S. Tubun, turn left on to Street K.S. Tubun, after that turn left again on to Street Kebon Jati, continue straight on to Street Jatibaru Raya. Then you will arrive at TanahAbang train station.

Aqmal: That's a lot, btw my friend said yesterday that if you take the train you have to buy a card, how much does it cost?


Joan: As far as I know, the price is 30 thousand, and I already have a balance of 10.


Aqmal: Is it enough to reach Monas with that kind of balance?


Joan: I do not think so. My suggestion is that you buy another 20 thousand.
