Here it is everyone: An update video on the Alexandrite linear switches from Ashkeebs! I lubed and filmed all of the switches and recorded the process! This is what I want to do more of when it comes to these sound test videos and also my own commission builds. Hope you guys appreciate the sound tests more after seeing what goes into them!

The keyboard I'm using is one of my custom painted Royal Kludge RK68 that I build for commissions (made this board for myself though). Here's a quick recap of the mods I've done to this board:
Foam mod (1/8" Neoprene foam in the case)
Tape mod (Blue painter's tape on the PCB)
Band-aid mod (On the stabs)
Switches lubed with Krytox 205g0 on bottom housing and stems, Krytox GPL 105 oil for the springs AND filmed with Deskeys Matte Black Film

Final thoughts: Maybe I got a bad batch of these, but these still had leftover plastic on some top housings and the clasps were so brittle. They bended so easily when pushed into the PCB. They sound better when lubed and filmed, but not by much honestly. They are definitely a heavier switch than most of the others I've tried. I might give them another shot in the future.
