The Apple watch is meant to be an amazing accessory to the iPhone, and this generation takes a step away from being tied to the phone by introducing cellular. Cellular allows the Apple Watch (S3) to use LTE for networking features via your carrier (AT&T, Verizon, etc.), completely freeing the Watch after initial setup.

The specific model shown in this video is the 38mm Space Gray Aluminum, Nike+ Edition. The wireless configuration is GPS (without cellular) and the Black (Anthracite) Sport Band.
