After Demon Slayer's fourth season ended in June 2024, it was announced that the Infinity Castle arc would be adapted into a trilogy of movies.

A trailer featured Muzan's hideout, the Infinity Castle, which will host epic battles involving the Pillars and main characters like Inosuke, Zenitsu, Nezuko, and Tanjiro.

In Japan, the "Infinity Castle arc" covers the entire Final Battle saga, so the trilogy may adapt the rest of the manga.

A release date projection could be made based on the release history of past Demon Slayer projects and Ufotable Studio's approach with the Fate/stay Night: Heaven's Feel trilogy.
