THE LIGHT THAT NEVER BROKE THROUGH.

I could have called this video "washout day". We headed for Glenridding at the southern tip of Ullswater. Grabbed some roadside shots on the way. Had a drive over a chilly Kirkstone Pass. Took a few shots of Ullswater in some very persistent rain. The light had spent all day hiding from us and we left Glenridding as the heavens opened at full force. We then made a final roadside photo stop netting a little bit of mood with the light that never broke through. This was our last day in the Lake District and we thoroughly enjoyed every day.
