★ABOUT THIS AU:

The Burning Four is a project based on rewriting the Power Of Three and Omen Of The Stars sagas of Warrior Cats, where it is a ❝ what if ❞ the main characters were born in different clans and with different parents. With each of the four having powers based on the five senses: sight, taste, smell, hearing and touch.

Hollyleaf, in this au, is named Hollyhare and is a warrior and future deputy of Windclan, daughter of Crowfeather and Leafpool. Her power of future smell allows her to smell events that occurred or will occur in a different period of time. For example, smelling a fire before it even happened or smelling a dead cat still roaming around. Her power also gives her the ability to smell emotions, being able to sense even the slightest change in a cats feelings.

The shock and anger of discovering her parents' secret drives Hollyhare into madness, murdering the one who threatened to expose their secret and revealing it herself in a gathering. Still being blinded by rage makes Hollyhare engage in a serious fight between her and her father, leaving them both scarred for the rest of their lifes.

Upon discovering her littermate’s whereabouts, Hollyhare’s brother, Amberpelt, desperately tries to run away from the clans, too shocked and angry to think right. Hollyhare tries to stop him, but ends up being too late. Amberpelt ends up trapped in a rockslide on one of the many tunnels around Windclan territory, devastating Hollyhare more than ever. Right after losing her littermate, Hollyhare is announced the new deputy, with Ashfoot’s retirement. What will become of Windclan now, and will the clans ever be able to recover such drastic reveals?
