How does the SEAT´s INFOTAINMENT Emergency call work? | SEAT

One of the most important functions of The SEAT Leon Infotainment system is the emergency call service (e-call). This emergency assist detects whether there is inactivity by the driver and can automatically keep the car within the lane and stop it, altogether, if necessary.

The emergency call (e-call) main function is calling automatically to contact a telephone operator in case of an accident. This car safety feature can get activated by the triggering of an airbag.
