Concept2, founded in 1976 by Peter and Dick Dreissigacker, first introduced the Concept2 Model A Rowing Ergometer in 1981. The Model B was introduced in 1986 with the now-iconic Concept2 Flywheel and Performance Monitor. The Model C was introduced in 1993. Slides were added in 2000, the Model D came out in 2003, and the taller Model E in 2006. The Concept2 Model D and E are both available today.
