Railfanning the Morristown and Erie Polar Express with GP7u 23 and GP15-1 24 12-1-2024

Merry Christmas to all my subscribers!! On December 1, I journey to Whippany to railfan the Morristown and Erie Polar Express on that sunny but very cold and blustery day! Morristown and Erie GP7u 23 is at the east end of the train and GP15-1 24 is at the west end of the train. Contrary to the last time I railfanned this train, the train now begins east out of Whippany to just east of Deforest Ave, then reverses west all the way to just west of Eden Lane, and finally back east to Whippany. I watched the 1:10 PM train. I railfanned the train first near the Whippany Village apartments as it was departing east. Then, I met the train at Route 10 going west. While waiting for the train to arrive back at the station, I then zoomed in on a Lackawanna Express Postal Car owned by the Whippany Railway Museum which got a new coat of paint and Maine and Eastern GP9 764 parked on a museum siding. I then filmed the train crossing Route 10 as it was arriving back at the museum.
