💡BACKGROUND
Although the plot of Token is fictional, it conveys aspects of the stories we often heard from actual womxn in tech during our interview series. Token tells a positive story about the tenacity, resilience, and success achieved by a female engineer in an unsupportive environment. By highlighting the barriers that Siena overcomes, we emphasize her strength and point out how welcome allies would have been in aiding her journey.
