For phase 2 of the fight with the Successor, a large portion of her abilities change. The most notable difference is her energy shield. This shield can be removed by one single drain attack of any variety. Drain attacks will remove her shield faster than any other method. It is worth it to chain a quick drain in with an attack to remove it as soon as possible as it blocks 100% of all incoming damage.

As a breakdown:
Slash: -5% resistance
Crush: -15% resistance
Pierce: 0% resistance

During flame transition:
Slash: -15% resistance
Crush: -50% resistance
Pierce: -10% resistance

Elemental Resistances:
Blood: 20% resistance
Ice: 20% resistance
Fire: 50% resistance
Lightning: 50% resistance

Status effects:
Immune: Stun
Immune: Inhibit
Slow/Poison have the same buildup potential even as phase 1.

Phase 2 HP (max difficulty): 99,800 HP
Phase 2 HP (zero star): 25,200 HP

Phase 2 is very different than phase 1. However, knowing the weakness during transition helps to wreck her immediately without any sort of care in the world. It makes her such an easy target after knowing this that will always be a chink in her armor.
