Welcome to the twelfth episode of season 2 of The Sci Guys. In this episode we will be turning a box into an air vortex cannon, which will produce a toroid shaped air vortex. We will show you how the round shaped hole in our box produces an air vortex and why its shape allows it to travel long distances. At the end of this video you will be able to demonstrate with an experiment how an air vortex cannon can produce a toroidal vortex of air and explain how the vortex's shape and the movement of its molecules allow it to travel long distances.
