This was made as a Computer Graphics 2 project, the assignment was stop motion. Rather than a story like most movies, being told with a plot and specific message, this was created like an art piece, meant for you to apply your own interpretation. After I wrote the story I realized I could apply the story to a current dilemma in my life that had nothing to do with the real story. I realized it was about my relationship and my struggle to do what was best. I also later realized that I was subconsciously inspired by the story of Mother Nature and in Fantasia 2.

The actual story being told, if you want to know, was supposed to be a young human representation of Mother Nature in the early stages of Earth, where there was no existing human civilization. This is my morbid concept of a beautiful world. She explored the Earth, not fully understanding the potential life she could create, she touches branches, observing them grow. One flower she grows is so beautiful that she decides to pick it and keep the beauty for herself. When she does this, it turns black. She touches the spoiled flower to her face and her makeup turns darker and black covers her hands and eventually feet. She abandons the flower on the forest floor, as it is no longer beautiful to her and catches a flame. Unaware of the darkness now growing inside her she touches more of her creations, killing them, she sprouts barren branch wings and flies away to learn more of what she can do or discover how to discard this death within her but, as we know today, everything that lives must eventually die.
